Louise is what you might decribe as a metaphysical healer. What this means is she is able to help people heal their own physical or emotional problems, simply by helping them change the way they think.

I know that to some people this might sound quite unusual, or maybe even unbelievable, but Louise has not only put her methods to good use, by healing a vast number of different people, but she has even used her methods to heal her own body of life threatening cancer. The focus of her methodology is commonly referred to as Hollistic Healing. This means that instead of looking at psychological problems as separate from the problems of the physical body, the mind and the body are seen as one, and that every illness has been caused by either a thought or a belief. One of the main methods of healing is the use of affirmations, which have been used very effectively by many people.

I would have to say that the film version is truly remarkable, and I very strongly recommend watching the Expanded DVD version. Released in 2007, the film is 90 minutes long, plus the additional interviews of the Expanded version add an extra 4 hours of material.

Louise gives penetrating insights her fascinating personal story, and explains how her views on abundance, self-esteem, and the metaphysical causes behind physical ailments were developed.
